Sherrel Lemon - Tipsy Treats

Sherrel Lemon, a native Houstonian, brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to her business, Tipsy Treats. Her career began at the age of 17 when, as a young mother, she balanced raising her two-year-old son while working at Pappasito’s Cantina. Driven by a passion for service and excellence, Sherrel went on to spend 14 years as a server and bartender at Houston’s Restaurant, where she mastered the art of creating exceptional guest experiences.

Her journey continued at Grace’s on Kirby, where she rose to the role of Bar Manager. Sherrel’s contributions to the restaurant extended beyond operations; she became known for her innovative mixology, creating cocktails that won multiple competitions, including a national campaign for San Pellegrino. Her signature drinks, such as the Frozen Lemon Drop and Grace’s Sweet Peach Tea, became menu staples and guest favorites.

Sherrel’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to assist in opening several bars and restaurants in Houston’s Third Ward, further solidifying her expertise in the industry. In 2022, she took a leap of faith, leaving her management role to turn Tipsy Treats into a thriving business. What began as private bookings for her imaginative cocktails has evolved into a full-service company, delivering premium drinks and personalized experiences for events across Houston.

Sherrel’s story is one of resilience and innovation. As a teen mom, she overcame challenges with determination and built a career rooted in creativity, professionalism, and a genuine love for her craft.
